Robyn Mason Killed In Auto Accident In Baltimore, MD
Robyn Mason, 51, was injured in an accident along with her boyfriend Jeffery Meeker. Both are deaf. The investigation into the accident is ongoing. Mason worked at a private agency which provide housing services for Deafs with intellectal disabilities. She was 1984 graduate student of Florida School for the Deaf and Blind in Augustine, Florida. She left behind family, friends, and her fur babies. Sleep In Peace.
Norman Rogers III Dies After Injured In House Fire
A Hyattsville man who is deaf died after his home caught fire early Sunday morning, his brother and nephew say. Firefighters responded to the fire around 5:28 a.m. in the 5900 block of Riggs Road. They say the fire started in the home’s basement before spreading to its first and second floors. Eric M. Sugrowe Killed In The Pedestrian Highway Crash In Maryland
An investigation revealed that Eric M. Sugrowe was struck and killed by a Freightliner truck hauling two trailers at the northbound lanes of I-270 only before the departure for Fingerboard Road/Md. 80 at about 3:45 a.m., according to a state police press release. He worked at Community Support Services for the Deaf in Baltimore, MD. He was 26.
Deaf Man Killed In Pedestrian Accident In District Heights
A deaf man was hit and killed by two vehicles in District Heights. He was later identified as Manny Cortez of Brooklyn, New York. The victim was later identified as 25-year-old Manuel Cortez of Brooklyn, New York on September 17, Both the drivers of the SUV and the Mercedes were not injured and remained at the scene. Investigators are working to determine the circumstances leading up to the collision. He was 25.
Toriano Judge Shot And Killed In Broward County, Florida
Police said the victim, identified as Toriano Judge, 37, was found unconscious outside his home, just a few houses down from where he was shot and killed. Judge was shot by Raheem Fulton after an argument over a phone that was left behind in robbery against Judge in his home. An Anderson High School teacher created a lasting impact on his students’ in under one school year of teaching American Sign Language. Roscoe “Rocky” Murray, who had been deaf, died Monday afternoon in a wreck on Interstate 69 near exit 222. Murray was accelerating onto the interstate his way home to Fishers later college. A deaf New Jersey man, Umar King, was killed when stolen SUV crashed into him while he waits for his ride home from overnight shit at Newark Airport. A deaf elderly man dies in a house fire which also injured his daughter. She was located in the next house with burns and was taken to the hospital. Her condition was unknown. Henry Wayne Webb was deaf and legally blind. He died at University of Cincinnati Medical Center, WXIX Channel 19 reports.
